Serious cutting capacity
The latest SCM Gabbiani S115 under going an installation in Auckland. With 115 mm blade projection and fitted with an abrasives material package this saw is specified for wood and fibre cement board processing.
Included with the installation of the Gabbiani is a new SCM Formula VF300 clean air dust collection system with easy empty bins.

Latest technology in paint line machines intoduced to NZ market
Roller coater - Thanks to Superfici’s vast experience in finishing, the Valtorta F1 is a fast and efficient roller coating machine which is suitable for finishing flat panels, doors, parquet, and furniture panels. Its technology and features are perfectly integrated into high-speed lines. Ideal for color, oils, primers, and finishes.
UV Drier - The streamcure lines are suitable to be placed in line either with a printing machine or with a roller coater. The streamcure was designed to meet the production needs of a large lacquer industry and a small paper industry. The conveyor belt is made with straps and is equipped with an adjustable suction plate along its entire length which, depending on the needs and the format, can be 3000-4000-6000-8000 mm.
SCM and still going strong
Recently we discovered this icon which is still being used today in a woodworking machine shop. This model of machine was produced between the years of 1977 through to 1983. How many machinery manufacturers can boast to have such durable machinery this old that are still used in workshops around the world. Most manufactures from that period generally do not exist today. The great news is not just the longevity of the machine but that you can still access most parts for 35 to 50 year old machines.

Panel & solid timber work well together
The joinery division of MCL Construction (formerly Mackersey Construction) was a traditional based joinery shop doing panel work and timber doors and windows using panel saws, mortice and tenoners and spindle moulders. That changed when they purchased an SCM Pratix Z2 52, a multi function fl at bed machine that runs both nested panels as well as solid timber, from Machines R Us in February this year. When Napier based Future Products Group had some down time on their main router late last year which required a wait for parts they decided it was time to get some back up for their 15 year old work horse and purchased an SCM Pratika 310 MVA.
